When finally biting the bullet and deciding to teach dance again full time, I could never have imagined that just 3 short years down the road my dancers would have been featured in 6…..SIX….musical theatre shows. It just blows me away.
In February of this year, we closed our 4th production, Seussical the Musical, with Onstage Woodward. When I first heard they were planning on doing this production, honestly, I was less than enthused. I did not know a ton about the show but knew that its stint on Broadway was fairly short-lived and had only fair reviews from my musical theatre friends. BUT I was pleasantly surprised by the diversified music arrangements and the adorable storyline. R&C dancers took to the stage as birds, fish, water, and showgirls. And oh, what fun it was!! Eight successful performances later, we all had the post show blues.
One of the themes from the show is that anything is possible. A pleasant reminder to never give up on dreams, to never think you are too old to create and build new opportunities for yourself and others, and to always remember “Think Big”. Revelation & Co is proof of that.
Please enjoy some pictures from our productions.
